Meet Zuni!
6 yr old Appaloosa mare
Our first mama horse! We have been given the wonderful priviledge of fostering “Zuni” for AAE All About Equine Horse Rescue located in El Dorado Hills, Ca.
Zuni was Slaughter bound and rescued last June by AAE from a feedlot in Nevada. Zuni had a two month old filly at her side that she had foaled on the feedlot.
Zuni loaded right up into the trailer with her baby at her side and headed to AAE’s rescue with a hope and future. What AAE didn’t know was…Zuni was not just a “2 in 1” deal…but actually a “3 in 1” package. This spring Zuni was confirmed in foal to deliver in March 2010. It is believed that Zuni was bred on the feedlot shortly after her filly “Fallon” was born.
Zuni is a WONDERFUL mare. She is patient, tolerant and kid friendly. She enjoys the attention she recieves at our ranch. She is an excellent subject for our “Foal Birth Project”. Zuni would be an amazing addition to any family.

Our Baby is here!!! Zuni is the proud mama of a little half Arabian Bay filly we have named "Zia" ...which means Light in Arabian.
