“Adopt a Soldier Project”
In May, each family in our Discipleship unit had the opportunity to adopt, reach out and minister to a soldier in Iraq. At our meeting on 5/17, students were given a name and profile for the soldier to pray for and create a care package to send to Iraq! Many seeds of compassion were sown among weary soldier hearts!
August 2009
Darned with shovels and work gloves, our class visited the P.E.R.N Horse Rescue in Cool, Ca. for an awesome tour of the facility and to pour out their own labor of love by working on ranch projects for the outreach. The day was coated in sweat, dirt and of course…laughter! “It is better to give than to receive”…..
